Before starting with methods is necessary to know what are the principles proposed, this time we are going to check just two; the first one is "the structure determines the function" and "the body posses autoregulatory-mechanisms having the inherent capacity to repair itself"
Methods: Planning a study method to test the proposition was agreed to do a literature review; were consulted 200 sources like books and pappers, they are; 50 physio theraphy books, 50 specific ostheopathy books and 50 pappers of rehabilitation medicin, 50 pappers of traumatology.
After that we interviewed 100 health professionals who are dedicated to the rehabilitation of physical injuries, from doctors to physio therapist.
Results:
20/200: refute the principles
180/200:approved the principles
Now about the interviews 90 of them aproved the osteopathy principles.
Conclusion: with the results obtained from the literature search and interviews with professionals we can verify the truth of the principles of osteopathy, so we are sure now that these ones can be applied in practice. We are sure know that if the structure fail the function will be affect, and with the autoregulatory-mechanisms the osteophaty just help them.
